Tony came to Georgia from Mexico at 24. He bussed tables, tended bar, and found the arts.

Three decades later he’s an actor, producer, and voiceover talent with 33 acting credits per IMDb — including American Made opposite Tom Cruise and Blind Trust — plus producing and casting director work, and around 150 national commercials: the voice behind campaigns for Lucky Charms, T-Mobile, and Coors Light. He founded the Latino Atlanta Street Theater and has produced more than 150 performances of The Fatherless. In 2022, Georgia named him one of its 50 Most Influential community leaders, and he remains deeply connected to Atlanta’s Hispanic community.

He started making history videos for a simple reason: Atlanta is full of stories that repeat themselves when nobody’s looking — a business that fails the same way twice, a decision nobody remembers anyone making. Telling those stories is how he gives a voice to people who never expected to have one.

Michelle didn’t plan on Atlanta. She met Tony in an elevator four years ago and moved south not long after, arriving while she was still recovering from a traumatic brain injury from a sports-related accident and not at all sure what came next.

Tony started showing her the city. That was enough to make her want to understand the place she was already living in — not as a visitor being shown around, but on her own terms. So she started walking the streets herself and digging into what she found.

That’s still the method. She isn’t reciting history at you — she’s finding it out loud, one block at a time.
